Before you enroll in any course in the Online Professional Development Institute (OPDI)™, you must first submit an Admissions Application.
OPDI students are accepted on a rolling basis. Applications arereviewed in order of receipt,and applicantsshould expect to hear from NDEO within a week oftheir submission date. Please submit your OPDI application at least a week prior to the start date of your desired course start date in order to allow for processing time.
The application fee for non-NDEO members is $25. The fee is waived for all current NDEO members. To take out an NDEO membership prior to applying to OPDI, please click here. Your application will not be reviewed until payment is received.
In addition to basic contact information, you will be required to provide detailed information about your educational background (schools, degrees, dates) and answers to the following questions:
Question 1: Summarize your dance training and performancehistory. (250 words)
Question 2: Summarize your teaching experience in the field of dance. (250 words)
Question 3: Summarize other activities, certifications, or workexpereince thatyou feel is relevant to your acceptance into the Institute. (250 words)
Question 4: Statement of Purpose,your career goals and how OPDI can help you acheive these goals. (500 words)
