To add a link to the left side, click in the white space below the existing links.Use the link builder in the toolbar to add a link. The page will automatically style the links. To edit colors, edit the html, and change #4c4c4c and #a12422 to the colors you want. Be careful removing existing links. Don't backspace too far, it'd be better if you edited the html.

How to Register for Courses

Prior to registering for courses you must first have a current NDEO membership and be accepted into OPDI. For information on membership, click here; to apply to OPDI, click here. Note: If you are the contact name on an NDEO Institutional Member, please email for your complimentary OPDI Membership.
 

To register for courses:

  • Login to the NDEO website with your member username and password.
  • Navigate to your Member Profile by clicking on the Profile link in the top righthand corner of the screen.
  • Click on the Access OPDI button in the OPDI section of your Profile.
  • Under the Upcoming Classes tab, you will see classes open for enrollment. Click on the corresponding enrollment link for the course you would like to enroll in.

How to Access Online Course Content (Sakai)

You will receive access to OPDI courses for which you are registered and paid the Friday before the course start date. No students will be given access to course material until course payment is received.
 

To access a course:

  • Login to the NDEO website with your member username and password.
  • Navigate to your Member Profile by clicking on the Profile link in the top righthand corner of the screen.
  • Click on the Access OPDI button in the OPDI section of your Profile.
  • Once in your OPDI Profile, click on the first tab - Completed / In-Process / Registered. There, you will see a list of courses you have completed and are currently registered for. To access the course materials in Sakai, click on the corresponding globe icon.
If you have any trouble accessing your course in Sakai or technical difficulties within Sakai, please complete this form. All requests will be handled within 1-2 business days.
 

How to View Grades and Request a Transcript

During a course, all grades will be available as they come in from your professor via the course's Gradebook in Sakai. Upon completion of the course, all final grades are housed in your OPDI student profile on the NDEO website.

To view final grades:

  • Login to the NDEO website with your member username and password.
  • Navigate to your Member Profile by clicking on the Profile link in the top righthand corner of the screen.
  • Click on the Access OPDI button in the OPDI section of your Profile.
  • Once in your OPDI Profile, click on the first tab - Completed / In-Process / Registered. There, you will see a list of courses you have completed with final grades reflected.

To request a transcript:

  • To request a formal OPDI transcript, please email opdi@ndeo.org.
  • For courses taken with UNCG credit: You will need your UNCG Student ID. If you did not receive an ID, please email opdi@ndeo.org. Follow the instructions here to request and pay for your transcript. There is a $10.25 transcript fee.
