NDEO, in cooperation with Arizona Dance Education Organization and the Herberger Institute School of Dance at Arizona State University, presents a 5 day conference exploring how dance can prepare students for increasingly complex life and work environments in the 21st century.

Statement in Response to Arizona Immigration Law SB 1070
NDEO chose to hold its 2010 National Conference in Arizona back in 2008 to highlight the state’s strong support of dance education and the exceptional work of our state affiliate, Arizona Dance Education Organization (AzDEO). NDEO shares concerns about the ramifications of the law on immigrant communities and minority populations. Holding Conference in Arizona in October 2010 is not an endorsement of SB 1070 and does not indicate our support of or agreement with the law or its enactment. We have made financial commitments for conference that do not give us the option of reconsidering our 2010 conference location.
We hope to see you in Tempe in October.
